On Saturday 1st March 2008, leaders and scouts from the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts Sections of 1st Baxenden Scout Group went along to plant trees at the Woodlands Trust at Earby. Hello, Brainiac here and welcome to the update to the meets.This week I was given the task of being a tester of the blog. This happened in secret and noone at scouts know. Yet.Also we had a photo shoot and that went better than the centenary one, (see below).We made rockets and paper darts as well. This year we are celebrating 100 years of Scouting. Over 1800 people involved with the scout movement will be attending the celebration, that for East Lancashire will be held at Bowley Scout Camp from the 25th to the 28th May 2007. Further information will be posted after the event, by the scouts - watch this space!
